Epcot is undergoing a major overhaul to improve and update park experiences. While there’s still a way to go, several new attractions are coming to Epcot in early 2020! The “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along”, “Awesome Planet”, and “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” will all open on January 17, 2020.
The “Beauty and the Beast Single-Along” will run in the France pavilion’s theater. It will alternate with the original film, Refections of France—which will also get an upgrade to 4K.
“Awesome Planet” is a new 10-minute film showing the wonders of Planet Earth. You can watch this film in The Land near Soarin’. See starting January 17, 2020.
The hilarious “O Canada!” film starring Martin Short has now been retired. While fans were eager to see an updated version with the comedian, it seems that Disney has settled on other Canadian hosts. Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy are the narrators of “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360″—also debuting on January 17, 2020. We can only expect that duo to be funnier than ever!food
New Epcot attractions are being added in 2020 to satisfy guest demand. The theme park will soon become “more Disney, more family, more timeless and more relevant to the millions of guests who visit each year.”
