The Disneyland Resort updated its mask policy for 2022 to allow guests, giving vaccinated guests more options.
Guest visiting the Disneyland Resort who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear face coverings indoors. The guidelines change on Thursday, February 17, for guest of Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Vaccinated guests will only have to wear masks when traveling on indoor transports like the Disneyland monorail and busses. The Disneyland trams—which return on February 23, 2022—do not require face coverings.
Disneyland is adopting this new policy on the same week that California updated its face covering guidelines. While Los Angeles County still requires face covering for public events, Disneyland’s Orange County does not. So, Disneyland is giving vaccinated guests the option to wear their face coverings only if they please.

All other guests ages 2 and older must wear masks indoors. However, all guests have the option to wear masks when outdoors. It’s still unclear how Disneyland will enforce these rules but we expect it’ll be the “honor system.” Guests are not required to show proof of vaccination to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks.
