The Walt Disney World Resort has updated its mask policy for 2022 that lowers requirements for vaccinated guests.
Starting February 17, fully vaccinated guests of the Walt Disney World Resort will not have to wear a face mask when indoors. Other guests ages 2 and older must still continue to wear face coverings while inside. However, all guests must still wear face coverings when riding enclosed public transport like the monorail and busses.
The current rules state that all guests, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a proper face covering while inside ride queues, restaurants, hotels, shops, and more. However, it’s been optional for guests to wear masks while outdoors.

It appears that Disney is using an “honor system” to enforce these rules, as it will not require guests to show proof of vaccination. In the past when Disney dropped the indoor mask rule, we rarely noticed guests wearing face covering indoors. Click here for the full list of face covering requirements.
