The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride at Disneyland will soon receive a FastPass selection!
We’ve been waiting so long for this day! Well, really only a few months, but still! Disneyland has finally confirmed that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will soon receive FastPass.
Since opening in May 2019, along with the rest of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the only option to ride the Millennium Falcon to wait in the traditional line. Actually, a single rider line is also available, but the ride is certainly more fun to experience with friends and/or family.
On most days, the Millennium Falcon has at least a 45-minute wait to ride. Even in the very early morning, guests flock to the attraction, hoping to get on before the bulk of the crowds. However, just minutes after park opening, the line can exceed 30 minutes. On busy days, the line has been over two hours.
For these reasons, we’re very excited to see the Falcon finally get FastPass! It’ll mean less waiting in lines as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance brings in massive off-season crowds. MaxPass will also be available for booking Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Disney hasn’t confirmed when FastPass will be available for the Falcon, but we’re expecting the debut soon. Usually when Disney makes these announcements, the official date comes shortly after.
Walt Disney World releases its FastPass+ for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run on February 19, 2020 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Perhaps, Disneyland will see a release around the same date? At this point, we can only suspect. In the mean time, join the traditional queue or ask a cast member how long the single rider line is.
