The nighttime spectacular Mickey’s Mix Magic is reopening at the Disneyland Resort with fireworks beginning early July!
With California now open, “mega events” can take place with little to no restrictions. This means that the Disneyland Resort can begin hosting large spectaculars, including nightly fireworks. Today, Disney announced that the popular show, Mickey’s Mix Magic, will reopen at Disneyland on July 4. The show will perform nightly throughout the summer.
Mickey’s Mix Magic Review
To celebrate the return of Mickey’s Mix Magic, we are revisiting this exciting show with a review! Originally debuting as part Mickey & Minnie’s 90th birthday, Mix Magic is like no other Disney nighttime spectacular. Using projections, Disney music, and even lasers, Mix Magic feels almost like a concert with its energy. Plus, the theme song, “It’s A Good Time” is a straight-up bop!
The beat is bumping and the lights are dazzling! Each segment felt more thrilling than the last as projections brought to life Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and more along with other classic and new characters like Pixar’s Coco. No matter where you look during Mickey’s Mix Magic there’s something exciting to see.
