Where can guests meet Mirabel from Disney’s Encanto in Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort?
It seems like everyone is talking about Disney’s Encanto these days! The animated film is already getting some major film nominations and wins, though it didn’t have the box office success that Disney hoped for. Nonetheless, the characters are a smash hit with fans who are eager to see them in the parks.
Back in November 2021, Disney California Adventure launched its ¡Viva Navidad! celebration during the Disney Festival of Holidays. Mirabel from Encanto became an instant hit character as she greeted guests from her casita-style spot. But now that the holidays are over, where is Mirabel?
Unfortunately, guests cannot meet Mirabel at this time. Since the Lunar New Year celebrations began, other characters replaced Mirabel in this spot. It’s possible that we’ll see Encanto characters in the near future once the Lunar New Year celebration ends in mid-February. However, Disneyland has not announced Mirabel’s return.
