After Happily Ever After fireworks returning in 2021 will they ever come back or has Disney totally cancelled this fan-favorite show?
When the Happily Ever After fireworks debuted in May of 2017, the new celebration came with some expected sadness. Many guests who loved the previous Wishes fireworks display felt sad by its ending. However, Happily Ever After quickly became the new fan favorite!
With amazing pyrotechnics and dazzling projections on Cinderella Castle, guests became delighted by the Disney magic brought to life. In addition, new music and plenty of Disney characters make their way into this jaw-dropping show.
After the park closures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Happily Ever After didn’t reopen for over a year! The show returned in July 2021 just in time for 4th of July celebrations. However, Disney then also announced that it would be the spectacular’s final run.
The Walt Disney World Resort launches its 18-month long 50th anniversary celebration on October 1, 2021. Starting that night, guests will be treated to a new show called Disney Enchantment. After that, Disney has no plans to show Happily Ever After gain. So if you’d like to see it, head to the parks before October!
