Here’s how Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will use the virtual queue when it opens at Epcot at Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World’s newest ride will officially debut this weekend! Beginning October 1, guests can enjoy the new experience of riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at Epcot. It’s the first and only ride inside the France Pavilion and is expected to be very popular.
To help manage crowds, Disney World is using a Virtual Queue for this attraction. But how will this queue work? If you’ve been on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, it’s the same process. If you’re not familiar, you’ll need to enter a virtual queue using the Walt Disney World app and get a boarding pass. Once you obtain a boarding pass, you’ll receive an estimated return time for the ride.
Your first chance to access the virtual queue is at 7am. This can be accessed anywhere, including your hotel room or even in the car. If you score a boarding pass at 7am, then you’ll receive a pop up notification when its your time to ride. You’ll have one hour to get to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. However, if you miss the 7am chance, you’ll be able to try again at 1pm. For this one, you must be inside of Epcot to access the queue.

Keep in mind that everyone in your party will need a ticket and a park reservation for Epcot to ride. If you don’t have one, you won’t be able to add them to your party for the virtual queue. We recommend linking everyone’s tickets to one device and trying that way to access the queue. Disney allows you to double check your party up to one hour before the queues open. You can view this on the Walt Disney World app.
Finally, you may only get one boarding pass per day. Boarding groups are not guaranteed and they often go fast! So be sure to act quickly! To get updates on Walt Disney World, sign up for our free e-mail newsletter! You can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
