The Walt Disney World Resort has not made it easy for guests to book the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience.
General booking for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser starts today! However, future guests of the so-called “Star Wars Hotel” may hit a few snags in the early days of booking. Unfortunately, the only way for guests to book is via a phone number. That’s right, there is no online booking, so wait times have been insane.
Earlier this month, the Starcruiser began its prebooking for annual passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and even general Star Wars fans. These bookings rolled out in waves, and guests sometimes waited hours to book. Still, several dates have sold out—including the entire first month! So, what are tips for booking?
First, we recommend waiting. Next week should be a much easier time to book your reservation. We expect that calls could be backed up through the weekend as phone lines have for each booking window. Second, if you’re worried about your dates booking, you should call ASAP. Just keep in mind that phone lines could be busy, so keep trying back until you get in. Give yourself several hours (and lots of patience) just in case booking is backed up.
