Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure roller coaster is using a single rider line again at Universal’s Islands of Adventure!
Now that physical distancing guidelines have been lowered at theme parks, rides can place guests from other parties next to one another. This will allow for both increased capacity and shorter wait times on the attractions. For Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, this means single rider has returned.
A single rider line is often a faster way to experience a ride—if you’re okay riding with someone you don’t know. Some attractions use this feature to quickly load vehicles that may otherwise leave seats open. For example, if a party has an odd number of riders, one person may be sitting alone. Thus, the single rider line inserts a guest into that available seat to boost capacity.
The single rider line is marked in the queue for guests. Sometimes you can save half the time waiting in single rider opposed. Other times, this special line only makes a few minutes difference. You can always ask the Universal Team Member if they have an estimate for the line length before choosing this option.
