Fantasmic is reopening in the coming months at the Walt Disney World Resort—with a new surprise!
When the Walt Disney World Resort parks reopened, guests noticed a lack of live entertainment. Since then, several shows including the Beauty and the Beast singalong have returned to the stage. The Indiana Jones stunt show is also set to reopen in December. So, what about Fantasmic?
Disney recently announced the Fantasmic will return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park in 2022! Though a specific release date was not given, a new surprise was unveiled. Disney is adding an all-new scene to the nighttime show. We don’t know what this new scene will be, but it’s expected to replace the Pocahontas segment.

In addition to Fantasmic, parades like the Festival of Fantasy are reopening in 2022. Disney is also continuing its cavalcades that run through the parks greeting guests.
