The Disneyland Resort recently revealed that it plans to open its Avengers Campus land in 2021 at Disney California Adventure!
We don’t want to jinx this but the Disneyland Resort is scheduled to open Avengers Campus this year. As the theme park resort eyes a rumored summer 2021 reopening, we could see Avengers Campus opening shortly after. The first-ever Marvel-themed land will host heroes such a Spider-Man, Iron-Man, Black Window, and more for guests to immerse themselves in superhero magic.
While we don’t expect Avengers Campus to open this summer, we do see Disneyland holding off until fall for its debut. However, anything is possible. Once Covid cases lower in California, we will see postings about Disneyland’s reopening. Until then, the Resort may opt for a food festival if allowed by local guidelines.
Once Avenger Campus opens, most of its experiences, including the new Webslingers: A Spider-Man Adventure ride, will debut. However, it’s still unclear whether the Sanctum mystic arts show with Doctor Strange might be affects by physical distancing measures.

The Disneyland Resort closed its theme parks back in March of last year. Since then, only parts of Disney California Adventure and most of Downtown Disney have reopened. Still, none of the rides and attractions are open for DCA. Guests mostly use these areas for dining and shopping, though even dining is limited due to California’s restrictions.
