New Disney PhotoPass options will be available when the Disneyland Resort reopens on April 30th.
Disneyland is set to reopen on Friday, April 30th to the general public. After over a year of closures, guests cannot wait to experience the magic once again. However, one of the best options for capturing these memories has been kept a secret—until now.
The Disney PhotoPass will return on April 30th with new options. Guests can purchase a one-day PhotoPass for $19.99. This can be done through the Disneyland app on the day of visit. There’s also a week-long price for those planning to visit more than one day. Disneyland has stated that this PhotoPass option is temporary. We expect that it’ll rejoin MaxPass once that becomes available again.
We highly recommend Disney PhotoPass as a way to capture beautiful memories when inside the parks. Whether its in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle with your family, or posing near the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, there’s always something amazing to snap a photo with.
Just keep in mind that things are a little different now with social distancing. Most characters will stand at a safe distance from guests. So don’t expect to capture a photo of you high-fiving Goofy for a little while. Tip: Make sure to ask your Disney Photographer for a “little magic” added to the photos. In Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll be able to pose with a superimposed Grogu (Baby Yoda)!
