Disney World to Stop Mask Policy in Most Places for Vaccinated Guests

Walt Disney World will stop enforcing its mask policy for vaccinated guests in most locations around the resort.

Starting June 15, face coverings will no longer be required for vaccinated guests at Walt Disney World. This includes the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs. However, Disney requires face coverings required for all guests on Disney transportation, including buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner.

It doesn’t appear that Disney will require proof of vaccination. So, we expect that it’ll be on the “honor system” for guests to continue wearing masks. Since lifting the outdoor masking policy, hardly any guests appear to wear masks when not enforced. We expect the same once Disney World drops the mask policy on June 15.

In addition, expect “relaxed”physical distancing in the queues and show spaces. We expect that this will mean no or little required separation from other parties. Furthermore, hand sanitizers will still be widely available and cleaning methods will still be ongoing.
