Walt Disney World annual pass sales will return this year, announced Disney without offering many other details.
Today, Disneyland fans were treated to details about the new annual pass program launching on August 25. The new Magic Key program revamps Disneyland APs with required theme park reservations and more. However, Walt Disney World Resort guests were mostly left in the dark—until now.
Disney confirmed that new Walt Disney World Annual Pass sales” will become available in time for the start of the 50th anniversary celebration! Walt Disney World Resort will be sharing additional information and details later this month, so be sure to stay tuned to DisneyWorld.com.” Disney World’s 50th begins October 1, 2021.

We still don’t know if Disney World is planning on revamping its program. Currently, guests can only renew their existing annual passport.
