New Disney Vacation Club members will now need to meet a new 125-point minimum to receive Membership Magic deals and experiences.
New members for the Disney Vacation Club now must purchase more points to enjoy added benefits. Membership Magic is included when you receive a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card. These cards provide access to special Moonlight Magic events, merchandise discounts, dining discounts, and more. Moonlight Magic is one of the biggest perks for a DVC card. On select nights, cardholders can bring themselves and up to 3 guests into the parks for free!
However, the new membership card threshold is 125 points. Though many families may need at least that for a week at the parks, this comes at a steep price. With points ranging from $110 – $260, depending on the resort, you may spend quite a lot to stay at Disney. “Effective October 19, 2020, to obtain a Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, Members must accumulate a total of at least 125 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney Vacation Development, Inc.“
