The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels will get access to extended parks hours along with several other Disney Resort properties.
This fall, the Walt Disney World Resort will celebrate its 50th anniversary. New attractions including the Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride in Epcot and breathtaking fireworks at Magic Kingdom will debut. To keep its hotel guests happy, Disney bringing back extra hours for those staying on property.
Guests with accommodations at a Disney-owned property will have access to the parks 30 minutes before opening. Several other Disney Springs hotels will also enjoy this benefit. Additionally, those those staying at the Swan and Dolphin near Epcot will have access to daily early entry.
However, guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort will also have extended park hours exclusively available to them. These might rotate nightly depending on the park for those with a deluxe room or villa. Deluxe hotels are the priciest on property and include Disney’s Grand Floridian, Disney’s Beach Club, and the newer Disney’s Riviera Resort, to name a few. In addition, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve—which are run by a third party—will also have access to these after hours.

We’ve already seen the announcement affect prices at the Swan, Dolphin, and new Swan Reserve. While many nightly prices are still lower than most other deluxe properties, it’s clear that guests will spend more for added benefits.
