Disney filed for an extension of its California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. The Anaheim permit asks for the 12 kiosks to run through September 7, 2020.
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is a series of snack kiosks for sampling new bites at the park. First scheduled to run from February 28 – April 21, it Disney now wants it to run 4-5 months longer.
After closing earlier in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, we wondered what would happen with Food & Wine. Many guests look forward to this annual event, and we’d only begun to share some of its best bites! Additionally, for those of you who didn’t experience Food & Wine yet, we’re happy that you’ll get a second chance.
Food & Wine returned with Soarin’ Over California, the first version of the theme park’s Soarin’ attraction. With any luck, we’ll see an extension on that attraction as well.
So far, Disney has not officially announced the new run of Disney California Adventure’s Food & Wine Festival. However, we expect that many of the spring offerings will continue through the summer as Disney plans for an exciting Halloween and Holiday season. Overall, we hope that things will start to feel normal again once Disney theme parks are back in action!
