by In celebration of the final film in the Skywalker Saga, Star Tours will receive an updated destination!
Star Tours is adding a new adventure based on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker! The tourist ship will find its way to the “ocean moon Kef Bir” with some exciting new action sequences. The attraction will debut alongside the new film beginning December 20th, 2019 at Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios theme park.
Star Tours—The Adventure Continues has seen new destinations biennially since the opening of The Force Awakens in 2015. Jakku, Rey’s desert home planet, was added in 2015 and we saw the red-salt planet, Crait, from The Last Jedi in 2017. Surprisingly, Batuu was also added as an end feature to the Crait update.
Traditionally, Disney will exclusively the new scene with each run for several months after its debut. After that, the scene is shuffled with several others at random. We’re not certain what’s in store for us in Kef Bir, but we’re certainly excited to visit!
