The Universal Orlando Resort recently updated its 2022 mask policy for vaccination guests visiting the parks.
If you’re visiting the Universal Orlando Resort this year, you may not have to wear a face covering. Mask requirements dropped for fully vaccinated guests heading to the theme parks, dining areas, hotels, and other parts of the resort. Additionally, rules did not change for other guests.
However, Universal states on its site that face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated guests. In addition, not fully vaccinated guests should continue to wear their masks while indoors. For transport, Universal Orlando only suggests that not fully vaccinated guests wear face coverings on transports.
As for the Volcano Bay water park, Universal does not make masks mandatory. Furthermore, for safety reasons, guests must not wear face coverings on water slides or in pools.
