The Festival of Fantasy parade now has a reopening date for the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World!
Soon, Walt Disney World parades will be back on route! The Festival of Fantasy Parade returns to the Magic Kingdom on March 9, 2022. Fan-favorite floats with characters from The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Peter Pan and more drift down Main Street, U.S.A. The parade concludes with an epic fire-breathing Maleficent dragon!
The Festival of Fantasy parade original closed with the parks nearly two years ago. However, it has yet to return until this spring. Instead, Disney brought characters into the parks on roaming cavalcades. Since the cavalcades have been a hit, Disney is keeping them as part of its entertainment lineup. Furthermore, a new “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade” lands in the Magic Kingdom On Feb. 11, 2022. The large cavalcade includes characters from Zootopia, Coco, Jungle Book, and more!
