The Walt Disney World Resort celebrates Earth Month with snacks, entertainment, and special merchandise at Animal Kingdom.
Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom in April 2021 may have access to some awesomely earthy surprises. To celebrate Earth Month, the park is offering specialty treats, new attractions, and themed merch for guests.
These limited-time experiences will run from April 18 to 24 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Furthermore, Earth Month attractions include Disney wildlife drawings at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station. Guests can learn to draw Dumbo, Terk, Squirt, Shere Khan, Simba, or Scar. Character drawing experiences are often displayed with times outside of the attraction.
Additionally, Disney will have animal characters cruising down Discovery River. Be sure to wave to them and snap photos with this physically distanced fun! However, Disney has not announced which characters will be available for this yet.
Limited-time specialty snacks include the Honey Bee Cupcake at Creature Comfort’s. You can also try the strawberry-flavored Flamingo Cupcake at Flame Tree Barbecue, and the Sea Turtle Graham Cracker Cupcake at Restaurantosaurus Lounge.
Special merchandise includes a limited-edition Earth Day 2021 Te Fiti Moana trading pin. Find many more earthy gifts at Island Mercantile. In addition, some of the pins and merchandise benefit the Disney Conservation Fund.
