The popular Asian Street Eats food truck is gone from its Downtown Disney District location at the Disneyland Resort.
One of our new favorite Disney dining spots has left the Downtown Disney District. Asian Street Eats served up fresh bowls and pancakes wraps in a delicious—and exciting—way! As one of the better quick service locations found anywhere in the Disneyland Resort, the dining spot reopened along with Downtown Disney last year.
However, the=food truck closed again due to California regulations back in December. This month, the dining spot quietly disappeared near the entrance of the former Rainforest Cafe. Rumors now say that a Star Wars retail location could open around the same spot. However, none of this has been confirmed by Disney.
The company has yet to confirm whether or not they will return. It’s been over 5 weeks since they posted on their main social media accounts.

As California deals with overcrowding in hospitals, strict regulations have affected all public businesses. Though Asian Street Eats could stay open for take out, we wonder how the current climate has impacted their business. We hope to see the food truck return at a future date, as it really was a fantastic option for affordable dining.
