At Disney’s D23 convention, several updates for Epcot were announced. From thrilling rides like the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster to the amazingly immersive Moana: Journey of Water, guests will soon experience Disney magic like never before.
As we eagerly await these enhancements, construction walls are in abundance at Epcot. Unfortunately, these less-than-pretty barriers will likely be around for the next 3-4 years. To better explain the need for this construction, Disney has updated the Odyssey pavilion with a 360 degree screen and stunning projection mapping display. Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the Epcot Experience is the companies high-tech way of bringing guests into the future excitement headed to the resort’s iconic, second park.
We highly recommend adding the Epcot Experience to your plan during your next visit. The projection mapping alone is a beautiful way to show you how the future attractions will be. In a way, the Epcot Experience feels like a future attraction within itself!
