Disney’s streaming service has finally arrived! Find out how this new platform can enhance your travel.
Last night, Disney+ arrived hours ahead of schedule. Naturally, we squealed like elementary school kids and readied our TVs for all of the exiting new programming—and we were not disappointed!
The best part about Disney+ is that there’s something for everyone in the family. From classic animated films like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White to the new action-adventure The Mandalorian from the Star Wars saga. There’s also an adorable holiday movie called Noelle starring Anna Kendrick and 30 seasons of The Simpsons!
Now that Disney+ is here, we have a super-useful tip for how to use this content for your next trip! The first thing that you should know is that Disney+ content is downloadable. This means that you don’t need an internet connection to watch movies, series, and documentaries later on your devices.
To get started, just download the Disney+ app on your mobile device, login, and find your chosen show or movie. You should then see an arrow like this ⬇ next to each title you click on. Once the title has downloaded, you can enjoy it on an airplane, in the car, and/or in your hotel room! It’s a great way to keep family members entertained with their favorite Disney content while on the go.
The second tip we have is to watch The Imagineering Story. It’s a well-told tale of how the Disney theme parks were created. It gets a bit emotional at times because Walt Disney’s heart is everywhere as he pours himself into creating these places of wonder and magic. Either way, these are great primers for seeing how the parks were designed before you go.
We hope that you’re enjoying Disney+ as much as we are! If you haven’t signed up, monthly costs start at $6.99 or $69.99 per year. You can also bundle Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN for $12.99 a month. Click here to get started.
