Fans will soon get a Mandalorian behind-the-scenes look in a new documentary series debuting on Disney+. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, launches on Star Wars Day, May the 4th, 2020.
The 8-episode documentary series follows the events of season one. Subscribers will have access to never-before-seen footage, interviews, and conversations with show-runner, Jon Favreau.
Favreau says of the series, “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together.”

Another Star Wars fan favorite tv series, The Clone Wars, ends its seven-season run on Star Wars Day. May the 4th began as “Star Wars Day” due to the date sounding like the Star Wars slogan, “may the force be with you.”
In the past, Disney parks have celebrated Star Wars Day with new attractions like Hyperspace Mountain and a nighttime celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
