The lead characters Disney and Pixar’s upcoming animated film, ‘Onward’ will soon greet guests in Disney theme parks! Ian & Barley, the two elf brothers who star in the film, are featured as costumed characters.
The characters debut along with the film’s release on March 6, 2020. However, guests at the Disneyland After Dark Nite on March 5, 2020 will see them first.
We expect to greet the characters at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure (Disneyland Resort) and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Walt Disney World Resort). Furthermore, we hope that Guinevere, their fantabulous van, will also show up for the photo op! However, none of this is confirmed just yet.
‘Onward’ is set in a suburban world filled with magical creatures. The two elf brothers attempt to use magic to bring their father back to life, but instead only end up with his legs. Now the three – well, two and a half – family members must go on a journey to complete the spell.
