Fishy Green Ale is now available in Hogsmeade Village at Universal Studios Hollywood! We have the location, price, and review of this magical drink.
Fishy Green Ale doesn’t taste anything like its name. No, you’re not drinking tilapia or catfish. Instead, it’s a minty, refreshing drink with large tapioca balls (they’re supposed to be fish eggs). The drink is also non-alcoholic, so anyone of any age can enjoy it!
Up until now, Fishy Green Ale has been exclusively available at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Orlando. However, now you can grab it in Hogsmeade Village at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park in California. The “ale” joins a lineup of other offerings including Pumpkin Fizz and Butterbeer.
In some ways, Fishy Green Ale reminds us of a boba drink. If you’re unfamiliar with this drink, it’s usually tea, milk, and flavoring like melon. The bottom of boba drinks also have large tapioca balls so a wider straw is needed to suck those out. The Fishy Green Ale uses blueberry tapioca balls that work great with the minty flavor.
The themed dining options in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter are one of our favorite things. For your next visit, make sure that you stop by the gorgeous Three Broomsticks for lunch and Honeydukes to grab some sweets. And, of course, don’t forget to order your Fishy Green Ale!
