We have seven reasons you should stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort – and one reason not to!
We adore Disney’s Riviera Resort. The unique, European-style property dazzles in just about every way. We’ve listed our top 6 reasons why this hotel is the best – and one reason why you may want to book elsewhere.
1. It’s GORGEOUS!
The hotel is inspire by Riviera countries in Europe, so expect plenty of white marble, green lawns, and box planters. We also love the stone archways and beautiful mosaics that retell classic scenes from Disney animated films like Peter Pan.
2. It has its own Disney Skyliner Station!
The Disney Skyliner was virtually made for the Riviera Resort. In fact, one of the stations exclusively stops by this deluxe villa hotel. It just takes a few minutes of walking from your hotel room before you’re high in the sky toward Epcot!
3. The Stunning Rooms!
If you love rooms with dazzling artwork and stunning bathrooms, Disney’s Riviera Resort is perfect for you! Since this is a Disney Vacation Club property, the rooms also come with kitchenettes in the studios and full kitchens in the one bedroom or larger. However, the Tower Studio does not have a kitchenette.
4. The Beautiful Pool
Kids and Adults love Disney’s Riviera Pool for the many options tailored to their interests. Kids can splash in the S’il Vous Play area or dart down a waterslide. Adults can hang by the calmer Beau Soleil Pool to escape the noise.
5. The Pastries
Nothing is better than waking up to delicious food! The Paris-inspired Le Petit Café serves an assortment of pastries, cocktails, wines, and even a charcuterie board. See the menu here!
6. Rooftop Dining
Topolino Terrace rests atop the highest point of the Riviera Tower. It boasts sweeping views of Walt Disney World from the soaring Skyliner and Caribbean Beach Resort to Epcot and further. Come here for a delicious character breakfast starring Mickey and his pals, and head back in the evening for mouthwatering French and Italian dishes. Get your reservations here!
7. Walk to Caribbean Beach
Exploring other resort hotels is fun way to spend your vacation at Walt Disney World. A pathway connects Riviera and Caribbean, allowing guests to enjoy dining at both locations. The Caribbean Beach Resort also has a gondola station, so you can ride over to it without walking in just a few minutes!
1 Reason NOT to Stay Here…
The tiny tower room isn’t a great deal. While many guests are drawn to its lower price point compared to other rooms, the tower studio is only about 250 square feet. So, there’s a reason it needs a murphy bed because it wouldn’t fit a normal one! However, if you don’t need more than that amount of space, then why not save and stay there? Smaller hotel rooms may be a thing of the future – although we hope not!
